Privacy Statement of Honor Club

Honor Club is a product (service) provided by Huawei Device (Hong Kong) Co., Limited, a Huawei subordinate company incorporated under the laws of Hong Kong, with its registered office at the Room 04,9/F., Tower 6, The Gateway, NO. 9 Canton Road, Tsimshatsui, Kowloon, Hong Kong (hereinafter referred to as "we" or "Huawei").
1 What Data do We Collect About You?
We will only collect and use your personal information for the purposes stated in this Statement. Personal information refers to any information that enables Huawei to identify you as a user.

We will collect and process the following data:

(a) Device information, such as device model.

(b) HUAWEI ID information, including the profile picture and nickname, in order to display them in your posts, comments, likes and etc.

To provide you with the services in and relating to Honor Club, Honor Club requires an Internet connection and your permissions to access your Gallery, Camera, and storage.

Honor Club are intended for adults only. However, for the use of Honor Club by children, we are fully aware of the importance of taking extra preventive measures to protect privacy and security.

2 How do We Use Your Data?
Huawei uses your personal data to provide you the services you have purchased and subscribed for in relation to Honor Club and to fulfill contractual obligations. Your data will be processed to allow you to access product information, tips and tricks for using your device, and the EMUI forum for comments and discussion.
Huawei will also use your personal data for the following purposes:
Marketing: We will use your device identifier, device model, operating system and version, and system language to push promotions.

You reserve the rights to reject the processing for marketing. For details, see Section 5(3).

To provide services in Honor Club, we will obtain the following personal information from Facebook, Twitter, and Google: your profile picture and nickname. The preceding information will be used to quickly log in to Honor Club using Facebook, Twitter, and Google accounts.

3 How Long do We Store Your Data?

We retain your personal data for no longer than is necessary for the purposes defined in this Statement. After the retention period expires, we will delete or anonymize your personal data, unless otherwise required by laws and regulations.

In Honor Club, your personal information will be stored until your HUAWEI ID is deleted.

After you deregister your account for Honor Club, the corresponding personal information will be deleted, including your HUAWEI ID, nickname, and profile picture

4 Do We Share Your Data?

Disclosures related to legal requirements and business transactions
Huawei may share your data in response to a legal process or request from a competent authority based on applicable laws or in connection with a legal proceeding or process.
Your data may also be disclosed as part of a merger, acquisition, sale of assets (such as service agreements) or transition of service to a Huawei group or other company.

Remote data maintenance:
The data collected and generated by Honor Club (Malaysia) will be transferred to and stored in Singapore and is remotely operated and maintained by engineers of Huawei Device (Dongguan) Co., Ltd. in China on behalf of us. Huawei shall strive to ensure data security.

5 What are Your Rights and Options?
You have the following rights and options:

(1) Access personal information
You can access your basic information including your profile picture and nickname in the account center of HUAWEI ID at any time.
You can also go to Honor Club > Me to check your points, posts, questions, answers, snapshots, followers and followings, comments, private messages and system information.

(2) Delete personal information
You can contact the administrator or moderator to delete a post or comment in Honor Club at any time.
Alternatively, you can delete your personal information by deregistering your account for Honor Club in the account center of HUAWEI ID.

(3) Reject certain features
Honor Club pushes news and information to you in the notification panel. To stop receiving such messages, please go to Me > Settings to disable the feature at any time.

(4) Updated personal information
You can updated your personal information at any time by following steps: enter the account center of HUAWEI ID from the user center in Honor Club, touch the profile picture to access the personal information interface, and then set your profile picture, nickname, gender, first name, last name, and date of birth.

(5) Withdraw consent
You can log in to the user center in Honor Club on your computer, click disagree, and click OK to withdraw your consent at any time.

If you think that Huawei is not processing your personal data in accordance with this Statement or the applicable data protection laws, you can file a complaint with the data protection authority in the region/country where Huawei Device (Hong Kong) Co., Limited is located.

7 How do We Update this Statement?
If Huawei changes the way your personal data is processed, we will inform you via push notifications or through other appropriate methods in due course of time.
